You are lovable,
You are worthy,
Not because of anything you have done,
But simply because you exist
(Buddhism teaching)
In our present world, you are lovable, you are worthy, when you chose the right career, when you wear the right clothes, when you eat the right food, when you say the right words, the list is endless.
Only when you have reached the consensus of the moment, only at that moment you feel worthy.
So you buy more, you participate more, you consume more… And if you don’t, you criticize yourself for not raising up to the expectations of others.
How do you get out of this senseless loop?
The answer: Self-love and contentment.
You don’t have to be a victim of society’s expectations. You don’t have to have a new car, or branded clothes, or an iPhone in order to feel happy. You are lovable, you are worthy, simply because you exist.
What is one activity you do or one product you buy simply to please others? If no one was watching, would you buy the same product/service?

I like to display courage or self assurance where there is not that much courage inside of me.
