Set smaller goals
Once you have a defined picture of all your life goals, move on to defining a plan with smaller goals, such as courses of action that will lead you to complete bigger goals. Create a one-year plan, from which you can create two small 6-month plans based on even smaller plans of one month each. Each goal should be based on the previous goal, in order as we have already said to create consistency that will lead to a result. Make a daily list that includes a few things to do, each day a few small things that will advance you toward the goals of your life. Early on, your small goals can be – read a book or gather information that will help you achieve your goals at a high level. This will help you improve the realistic quality of setting your goals.
Stay on the same track
Once you have decided on the first base of goals, be sure to maintain a flow of the process by checking and updating the to-do list on a daily basis. From time to time try to review long-term plans, and make changes to it to reflect the priorities most relevant to that point in time. More specifically, try to set precise goals, including dates, times and quantities, so you can measure accomplishments. If you do this, you will know exactly how much time you have to achieve the desired goal, and in addition, you will get complete satisfaction from meeting the goal. Set priorities. What needs to be done first? Do you need to look at writing a will? If you do, then consider looking at a pre-written will. When you have several goals, it is important to give each one priority. This will help you avoid feeling overwhelmed that there are too many goals, and turn your attention to a few important things at the same time. It can be quite discouraging to fail each time to achieve goals due to reasons beyond your control.
Grasp success
Take a piece of paper and write in the heading “My list of goals” and start writing a list that includes at least 15 goals or dreams that you would like to achieve and fulfill in life. Do this without limiting yourself and thinking whether you are capable of it or not. In order for you to be comfortable, it is recommended to divide the list into 3 categories:
1. Career and finance – employment promotion and economic goals that we are interested in achieving.
2. Personal development – abilities, skills and attributes that we are interested in improving ourselves.
3. Property and entertainment – material things we want to achieve and an experience we want to experience.
