I have listened to hundreds of podcast episodes on the topic of success and achievement, and many of them insisting that in order to be successful you need to wake up early, make your bed, and take cold showers.
Well, I am neither rich nor famous but I have obtained financial independence, without ever waking up to an alarm clock, making my bed, or taking cold showers.
In fact, I wake up whenever I want to. I only make my bed when I have visits. And I NEVER take cold shower. I think It’s crazy.
Many people want a formula for success. And for decades, that formula has been to go to college, get a degree, get a job and stay the course until age 65. But that’s not success, that’s just being part of the system.
The way I see it, There are three things you need to do in order to be successful:
- Take a risk
- Do the work
- Do it often
