Laura Page-Hamelin is the founder of the Artebula app. An App designed for families with children who love to create art! This is a story about entrepreneurship and creativity.
Artebula app was inspired by one of her daughters when she was 4 and she found a stack of her artwork in the recycle bin. It ripped Laura Page-Hamlin’s heart open. All her artwork tossed in the recycle bin! What kind of mom am I anyway”, she thought.
With over 19 years of Marketing experience and a whole lot of drive, Laura Page-Hamelin set out to solve the “piles of artwork” problem once and for all. During the early stages, Artebula acquired a co-founding crew, won a pitch competition, received the first round of funding, and propelled forward into development.
The Artebula App launched in March 2020, 1 week prior to quarantine in North-America. The timing could not have been worse. They are acquiring new users every day despite the world’s current state and are working tirelessly to build an amazing technology company focused on fostering self-confidence, creativity, and development in children.
