Dominick Quartuccio is a mentor, speaker, trainer, and author dedicated to supporting others to be better versions of themselves. His passion is to help people design a future they can’t wait to live into.
In this episode we speak about his book Design Your Future: 3 Simple Steps to Stop Drifting and Take Command of Your Life.
Dominick Quartuccio found himself living a default existence: Go to school, get a good job, move up the corporate ladder, become financially successful. He worked for 15 years at Prudential Financial, Became the #1 seller at age 30, tripled his salary, and at the end of the day felt empty.
Dominick got started on a path of personal development. He started reading books, going to live events and workshops, then hiring coaches. He went inward until finding some clarity. Now he wants to help other people find that clarity as well.
The book Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill transformed his life. In that book, Napoleon digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals.
Dominick realized that people find themselves drifting through life, not making intentional decisions about what lights them up, who are the people they want to be with, where are they being courageous, where are they letting their fears take hold of them.
We drift through life, doing what our parents tell us to do, doing what society is telling us to do, what religion is telling us to do, what our society tells us to do, what marketers tell us to do. And we don’t take the time to curate that inner compass and ask: “What is it that I want to do?”
After waking up from the drift, Dominick started to search for the things that made him spark.
Dominick quit his job and started working as a coach, helping people to get out of the drift and design a future they couldn’t wait to live into.
After a while, Dominick realized that a way to help even more people was to put his ideas down in a book, so he wrote Design Your Future: 3 Simple Steps to Stop Drifting and Take Command of Your Life.
In the book, we spoke about how to awaken from the drift. How to disrupt the pattern. How to design the future and how to sustain it.
