It has always been popular to trash millionaires and billionaires.
Most of the time, people hate billionaires mostly out of jalousie, but me, I admire most of them.
- Jeff Bezos. $177 B. United States. Amazon. …
- Elon Musk. $151 B. United States. Tesla, SpaceX. …
- Bernard Arnault & family. $150 B. France. LVMH. …
- Bill Gates. $124 B. United States. …
- Warren Buffett. $96 B. United States. …
- Larry Ellison. $93 B. United States. …
- Larry Page. $91.5 B. United States.
This is why:
Their work ethic is without parallel
The first thing people have to realize about billionaires is their work ethics have no comparison.
Most billionaires don’t need to work. In my eyes, anyone with over one million dollars doesn’t need to work, but billionaires get up every day and put in more than 8 hours of work.
Billionaires are relentless when it comes to working. Elon Musk runs several companies, among them Tesla and Space X, and his companies are years ahead of the competition.
There are way easier places to work, but nobody ever changed the world on 40 hours a week
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 26, 2018
Mark Cuban spent all-nighters learning how to code and didn’t take a vacation for seven years.
Although I am nothing compared to those billionaires, I built most of my wealth when I was the owner of a dance school and I used to work 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
Billionaires take the risk of opening their own business
I have been coaching people for a few years. I tell them how to save and how to earn more money. Among the tips that I give is to open their own business. Most people are terrified at the idea of being responsible for their own future.
All billionaires have created their own businesses. They take the risk that others are not willing to take.
No one has become a billionaire yet by having a regular job.
Billionaires are constantly learning, many of them are self taught
Warren Buffett, a voracious reader, will be the first to tell you that reading is the most valuable source of knowledge. The Berkshire Hathaway CEO reads up to 500 pages per day.
Mark Cuban often reads for three hours a day to learn more about the industries he’s working in
Elon Musk taught himself how to build rockets.
Bill Gates taught himself how to code.
Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, was an English teacher who taught himself about e-commerce.
Billionaires create jobs
Take a look at Amazon, created by Jeff Bezos. It has 1,300,000 employees. Those are 1,300,000 who owe their livelihood to Jeff Bezos.
Take a look at Walmart, created by Sam Walton. Walmart employs more than 2.3 million associates around the world.
The creation of all those jobs should be celebrated, and we should be thankful to the people who create those job opportunities.
People hate billionaires because of income inequality
We have be aware that most billionaires give their wealth away. Warren Buffet gives over 2 billion dollars per year. Bill Gates gives more than that. Almost all billionaires run some kind of philanthropy activity on the side. All that money will be given out eventually.
As for me, I am grateful that I can order Amazon products, and watch Netflix, search things on Google, using my windows computer. I have nothing but gratitude and admiration for those billionaires who continue creating products and services that people want.

Hi
Absolutely agree with all your points, these entrepreneurs (Bezos, Musk, Gates etc) are great entrepreneurs with a fantastic vision. Interestingly, they seem to me to be more humble and polite than so many people I know. They never forgot their humble beginnings, when so many laughed about their vision. They are an inspiration, for sure.
Cheers
